Drawing 121 from April 26, 1996. It completes the week from last Friday’s sketch and is a sketch of our dear mother, Jensine Hartel on the evening before she died on April 27th, 1996.
As I sat beside her watching her sleep so peacefully..it was an extraordinarily beautiful moment and all there was to do was express it in a drawing.
I will never forget it and we will never forget the beautiful woman she was for each person whose life she touched.
