The drawing of today is my drawing over an older in-process painting of my father’s hands. I took a 2 year break from it and am finally getting into the groove of what I am pulling out of now.
Drawing with a soft pencil has given me access to this image of his, then, 85 year old hands which were barely able to peel and eat a tangerine.
The larger painting in process ~ again. Note, due to a healing shoulder fracture, i am painting on the table.
