Drawing 19 is of the water iris growing in Simon and Polina’s home as they care for it before the warm weather returns. I could keep drawing the flower; the graceful and delicate lines of the flower petals and stems remind me of Art Nouveau art. I started with simple lines and then went with deep shading around the basic plant shapes I focused on.
