Drawing 105 ~ done from memory of the Markham Civic Center Atrium. I worked in 4 different city halls over the last few days and I loved this space. I was going for a quick coffee break from my research, and became inspired by the magical experience of walking down the stairway into the open space in front of me; trees, sunlight and long vista outside.
This drawing doesn’t capture it yet… and this will have to do for now!
